Spring Water “Hiking to the Source”

Natural Spring Water...coming out of the side of a cliff.
A few weeks ago…we took a break from the garden and decided to hike to the “source” of the spring water we’ve been gathering for the last year.
Out of all the things I take into my body…this water…is by far…the most cleansing and nourishing! We first learned about Spring Water at the Source..from reading about it in David Wolfe’s book “The Sunfood Diet.“ If you haven’t read it yet….pick up a copy ASAP! He’s written many books since this one….but this first of his books remains my favorite.
But…the real jump took place when Daniel Vitalis started sharing his understanding of spring water and feral foods!! His work is based on the power of spring water….check out danielvitalis.com and elixircraft.com for more information on Daniel’s insights. Daniel also has a site called findaspring.com, where you might find a spring near you…I still need to list this one on that site!!
You can also click this link…to see numerous videos on Daniel’s “spring water insights“…so many on YouTube!!
The two videos below show our recent journey to collect spring water. The first video is of the complete hike…up the canyon. The second video …shows just the end of the hike…..
….someday soon….I hope to grow food near a spring…so the plants can thrive on the water also….
IF… you still want more information on the power of spring water…check in to the work of Viktor Schauberger. A few of his works have been translated by Callum Coats….in some of the following books..
There’s probably a spring near you….check it out!!

YAY you found spring water in Utah, how EXCTING! Great vids, Jake!

Yes..it’s here in Southern Utah….pretty isolated….in the canyons behind Colorado City at the Border of Zion National Park.
If you’re ever in our area…feel free to hit us up….. you’re always welcome to come by the gardens!!
I’ve looked… and am still looking…for spring water all over the state…I’m sure there’s good springs all over these mountains!! The mountains around Park City must have many!!

Hey Jake…what kind of TDS/PH/Temp meter are you using? I am using my older tds meter only, but it is bulky and am looking to switch. The combination and size of yours seems like an obvious choice.
I saw a Hanna one online, but it was for sale at $114…any ideas for us?

Hi Anthony…we’re using the Hanna Combo PH/TDS/TEMP meter…..and love it’s ease of use!! I’ve used Hanna for a while now..for testing my aquarium waters and it’s very accurate!! I’ve used a few different brands of meter…and like Hanna the best! I’ve compared it’s reading to independent PH meters hooked up to my fish tanks and it’s readings are the same. I was curious about this…because of the “COMBO” unit thing…I was hoping accuracy wouldn’t be affected..and it’s not….I do keep mine very clean though…
Marinedepot.com is where I picked mine up at…I bought calibration solution and cleaning solution at the same time…all available at marinedepot.com</a… I noticed Hanna sells on Amazon as well…..that sell price of $114 sounds like a great deal!!
I think it's well worth the money…it's well built and will last for a long time!!!
