Lee...hello..thanks for checking out the site...sounds like you're studying the same things we are...

The book IS amazing isn't it? SO much information in there...it will take a while to ingest it all and apply it. I'm working on the same thing..how do I best work with mycellium in the garden..or encourage it's natural growth.

So far in my research..it appears that.. at least.. starting with using mychorrizal fungi when planting trees, plants etc..really encourages growth and that natural symbyosis between the plants and fungi...the mychorizzal spores are available everywhere...we're currently using spores we purchased from groworganic.com

Sounds like fun.. doing a community garden!! I'd like to get one going around here! Happy Growing!!

Whats with this book? I've seen it popping up all over the Blogosphere and it seems like ever since my friend borrowed it a few weeks ago fungus and mushroom related people and issues have shown up as well.

The friend I metioned and myself are starting a community garden/education field and were in the process of determining how we can incorporate mushrooms other then outright growing them for food, the book is a real inspiration but with our climate it might be abit tough to figure out....

But anyway good read and thanks for spreading the word!
