One man, One cow, One planet

Posted by Jake

This clip shows a preview of a movie “ONE MAN, ONE COW, ONE PLANET, it’s one of my favorite documentaries…of any genre…and inspires me beyond measure!!  It shows the power of the Rudolph Steiner method of agriculture science… Biodynamic Agriculture..and follows one of its advocates, Peter Proctor, as he helps Indian farmers reclaim their crops and soil from the grips of chemical farming.  Just getting excited now..to do my own special Steiner preps, as shown in the movie.

Until I get my own horns, barrels, a good amount of compost and sacred herbs in larger quantity..I’m using the below biodynamic compost starter..available..here.

SO powerful!!  Thanks Yardsnacker..for posting this preview.  You can get a full copy through the link below.

  • thank you for this - and thank you for the link. It is so hard to go forward making documentaries when people download them for free. We have recently filmed a day long compost making class with Peter Proctor and want to finish it to DVD so others can see this wonderful man in action. If you are able to donate to support this cause please see our website: www.onemanonecow.com
    thank you.

  • Thank YOU Sumner Burstyn..this movie, like BD field sprays, need to be spread all over the earth. I'll either donate..or buy a few more copies to seed the earth with...and will gladly buy a copy of the compost DVD with Peter, when it's completed. Please advise...and I'll check the website regularly...so I can do a post on it. Gratitude..for bringing this info and passionate person to light....so much wisdom!! The other movie you made, "This Way of Life"..looks very good as well..would like to order a copy of that also...thanks for this work!
  • I hear ya on the cow pat pit...been looking for well loved grass fed cows locally...harder to come by these days..i need well loved grass infused..poop. This biodynamic stuff blows my mind...just noticed you're getting your soild prepped for the upcoming season...cheers!
  • Right on bro! Yea the heart of biodynamism is awesome. I'm trying to do it sans the animal products, but it would be nice to get a hold of some horns and also make a cow pat pit!
