Shawn Jadrnicek – Urban Permaculture Institute of the Southeast

Shawn’s design, is what I aspire to create someday.  He’s using his grey-water, directing it into ponds, and growing mushrooms on logs!  Two things on my hit list!!

These videos have so much info in them…I’ve watched them a few times each, and am still picking up new insights.  Love the way he uses all water to his advantage…!!

This is urban permaculture at its best!!

    there has been a lot of man hours well spent on that place…so cool. i like how they planted on the “city property” haha. i wouldn't mind trying the predatory bird simulation device.

    Amen to that…hours…very well spent!! Many different foods, of all types from here on out, to munch on for that house!! Including fish…caught in your own backyard…very cool!! Every time I turn on a faucet now, I'm thinking how it could be watering a pond outside….soon!!

    Every yard needs a predatory bird simulation device…wouldn't mind taking a ride on one myself this fine evening…the birds are going after my strawberries!!
