Permaculture, a term coined by Australians Bill Mollison and David Holmgren, is a method of growing that allows the natural balances of nature to guide the growing process.  Working with nature instead of against it!! 

Watch the above video to see a visual example of what permaculture on a smaller scale can be like!!  Our vision is to use these methods as well as raised bed methods and blend them into our small space. 

An amazing book on this subject of permaculture on a small scale is written by Toby Hemenway, in “Gaia’s Garden: A Guide to Home – Scale Permaculture“, he’s broken down many of the permaculture methods and presented it for the backyard gardener.  This is a great book, with a second part to the series..being released very soon!
