They also grow along the Colorado River in back of the Botanical Gardens in Grand Junction. I also ready his book and I am trying a winter greenhouse for the first time. I am heating it a little because it is so small that I can't fit the second layer of cover. My problem is, I have created a nice safe warm place for bugs to eat my plants. So I am going to introduce some ladybugs and hope it is warm and moist enough for them to do their job all winter long.
